Says foolproof arrangements made for Amarnath yatra

Ganderbal, June 3( KNO): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday welcomed devotees at Mela Kheer Bhawani and urged people from across the country to come in large numbers to participate in the forthcoming Amarnath Yatra. After paying obeisance at Kheer Bhawani temple, LG Sinha, as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) told reporters that devotees have come here in large numbers while administration has made foolproof arrangements for smooth conduct of the mela. He said that devotees, including Kashmiri Pandits in large numbers, are taking part in this mela and he prayed for peace, prosperity and progress in Jammu & Kashmir. LG Sinha said that all the preparations have been made for smooth conduct of Amarnath Yatra. "I urge devotees across the country to come and seek blessings of Baba Amarnath. We have made fool proof security arrangements for the forthcoming pilgrimage," he said—(KNO)
